Groot Transfer Station - Round Lake Park

Construction of a new 27,000 square foot waste transfer station in Round Lake Park, Illinois. Construction consisted of exterior precast wall panels, long span joist system spanning 150+ feet, 8” Ductilcrete interior floor slab and exterior pavement, 18” thick concrete push walls with 1/2” steel plate embeds, two interior and one exterior truck scale, deodorizing misting system, hi-speed roll up doors, and 160 square foot scale house.
