Groot Transfer Station - Plano

Construction of a new 15,486 square foot waste transfer station on a 2.8 acre parcel in Plano, Illinois. Construction consisted of new precast and steel 18” thick concrete push walls, ½” steel plate embeds and 10” reinforced floor slabs for the firm, which will also feature high bay fluorescent lighting, a deodorizing misting system to eliminate waste odors, interior and exterior truck scales as well as a scale house.
