iHerb Fulfillment Center (IL)

Full tenant build-out of a speculative warehouse/distribution center into a fully-automated order fulfillment facility. Situated on a 16 acre site near the I-90 and Randall Road interchange, the precast building features 32' clear height, ESFR fireprotection system, 24 exterior docks and 4 drive-in doors. All iHerb’s distribution centers are Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) registered and are kept at a cool, climate-controlled environment of 74-75 degrees Fahrenheit (23-24degrees Celsius), and have large walk-in refrigeration units for items such as those containing acidophilus that require regulated temperatures. Morgan Harbour was previously the design-builder for the speculative core and shell development prior to the tenant build-out for iHerb.

 

As their first location in lllinois, this Elgin facility joins iHerb's other U.S. distribution and fulfillment centers in Kentucky,Pennsylvania and California.
